Signs of Inflection Point Reached on Party Registration Voting
Early voting has looked grim this year for Democrats primarily because registered Republicans chose to vote in-person early sooner this election than in any previous election. As I and others like Tom Bonior have cautioned there are indications this unusual behavior was in part fueled by Republicans who voted early later in 2020, or on Election Day. If so, then Republicans might stall their voting while Democrats start catching up.
