North Carolina began in-person early voting on Thursday, Oct. 17 and the initial statistics indicate a record turnout for the first day of in-person early voting.
This North Carolina record doesn’t have an asterisk like Georgia, where poll book glitches in 2020 created long lines that likely depressed turnout on the first days of in-person early voting.
