Early Voting Analysis for Monday Oct. 3, 2022
Early voting in the 2022 November election is underway. All states have sent military and overseas civilian ballots by 45 days prior to an election, as required by federal law. Some states have begun reporting these ballots and some state — such as Minnesota, North Carolina, and Minnesota — have opened voting to all eligible persons.
As I have done for every federal election since 2008, you can follow along on my early voting tracker. As we enter October, already over 100,000 people have already voted in the 2022 general election.
So what might we learn from early voting so far in the 2022 midterm election?
